How much does Outro cost?
Outro offers flexible pricing depending on your needs and whether you're using insurance.
Evaluation
To get started, you can book an evaluation with a clinician trained in safe deprescribing. Evaluation pricing starts at $99 and is personalized based on case complexity.
Taper Management membership plan— $275/month
Our full-service tapering program includes:
- A neuroscience-based, adaptive taper plan
- A monthly follow-up visit with your clinician
- Between-visit messaging with your clinician and care team for urgent needs or quick questions
- Withdrawal symptom tracking tools
- Support with prescribing commercial/compounded medications
- Access to our weekly peer support groups
- Unlimited access to our deprescribing resources and educational material
For more acute cases (like medication reinstatement to stabilize existing withdrawal symptoms), monthly program costs may be higher.
Platform Basic membership plan — $99/month
A lighter-weight option that includes access to your taper plan, symptom tracking tools, educational resources, and peer support groups — without a bundled monthly clinician visit. Instead, you can book visits as needed for $175 each.
It's generally the best fit for those who are holding a dose and not actively tapering, reducing doses on a monthly basis.

Taper Management+ plan — $695/month
This plan includes all of the benefits of the Taper Management Plan. However, instead of monthly visits, this plan includes up to 4 visits per month. This plan works well for those who want a bit of extra support and guidance during their tapering process.
Insurance-Based Membership plan — $99/month
If you have an accepted insurance plan through our Headway partnership:
- Membership fee: $99/month — covers your taper plan, tools, messaging, peer support groups, and resources
- Clinician visits: Billed through your insurance — you pay your plan's copay per visit

Quarterly Billing Discounts
Save when you pay quarterly instead of monthly:
- Taper Management plan: $225/month (billed quarterly) — save $150/quarter
- Platform Basic plan: $79/month (billed quarterly) — save $60/quarter
- Taper Management+ plan: $595/month (billed quarterly) — save $300/quarter
- Insurance-Based plan: $79/month (billed quarterly) — save $60/quarter
